Warehouse Engineer

Oversees the quality and performance of the warehousing contractor, including. Ensure the appropriate receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch, disposal of materials. Ensure of right planning of the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain materials such as chemicals and parts are accessible.Ensure productivity and contractual targets of warehouse contractor are met and maintains

Policies, Processes and Procedures
 Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

Day- to-day operations
 Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the assigned Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
 Ensuring productivity and contractual targets of warehouse contractor are met and maintains in SAP Warehouse Management based on management of the warehouse
 Daily, controls the work quality performed by the warehouse contractor, identifies and documents issues, develops solutions to solve issues, follows up on execution of solutions through final implementation of solutions. 
 Ultimately, develops and maintains a continuous improvement process within warehousing.

Warehouse and inventory Management
 Create monthly reports on performance of the warehouse contractor
 Ensure correct inventory status in SAP system vs. physical inventory

Delivery and Technical Support
 Ensures order in the physical warehouse
 Regularly communicates with Proponent Departments to understand and solve any issues with regards to on time delivery of materials to Proponent Department
 Follow standards in the industry.

Planning and Update
 Develops and regularly (every 6 months) updates written, formal standard operating procedures.

Reporting
 Creates monthly reports on the performance of the warehouse contractor, including status of issues and solutions
 Creates regular reports on the status of inventory, including obsolescence, slow/fast moving items

Safety, Health & Environment
 Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
