To carry out administrative tasks of a department / section to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Policies, Processes and Procedures

             Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Day- to-day operations

             Applies the day-to-day operations assigned own section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

Administrative Tasks

             Takes appointments and schedules meetings

             Performs administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations

             Follows-up to ensure transactions are completed as requested and in a timely manner

             Coordinates with other departments to facilitate bureaucratic procedures

             Orders office supplies as required to ensure stock is always available for department usage

             Notifies IT of any issues and follows-up to ensure satisfactory resolution

             Coordinates with caterers regarding lunch and for other occasions ensuring preparations are made as required

             Prepares response to incoming correspondence to ensure department’s / section’s views are clearly presented

Reporting

             Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for section in order to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

Safety, Health & Environment

             Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
